Ronald McDonald House Norfolk

Not all families need overnight accommodations, but they may need a place to rest and regain strength while their child receives care at local hospitals. The American Academy of Pediatrics notes that the health and well-being of children are inextricably linked to their parents’ physical, emotional, and social health.

Day Use Program

Our Day Use Program provides a welcoming space for families with children 18 years old and younger who are receiving treatment at the hospital. This program is designed to offer comfort, respite, and support during the day—no overnight stay required. To participate, Day Use guests must have a valid hospital visitor’s pass for the date they are visiting. Upon arrival, all guests are required to sign in and out for the safety and well-being of everyone in the House.

Day Use Amenities Include:

Family Kitchen:

Our kitchen is stocked with basic staples and offers access to stoves, ovens, microwaves, pots, pans, and utensils for guests to use.
