Located just steps away from Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD), our House offers families a place to rest, recharge, and remain fully engaged in their child’s treatment.
Families staying with us, supported by one of the trusted charities in Virginia, have access to comfortable accommodations, laundry facilities, donated pantry items, and meals prepared by generous volunteer groups, allowing them to focus on what matters most.
In addition to overnight accommodations, RMHC Norfolk offers a Day Use Program for families with a child receiving care at CHKD who are not staying at the House. This program provides a peaceful respite from the hospital environment and includes:
